The Graduate School of Pastoral Ministries is a graduate school which is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. This school offers two degrees: the Master of Divinity and the Doctor of Ministry. Students who pursue the Master of Divinity should be equipped with academic and leadership training enforced with theological expertise from various pastoral experiences. The requirements for entrance are a four-year theology degree and pastoral ministry experience.
The emphasis is placed on the practical application of the foundational academic course work of theology to the pastoral ministry. The internationally-recognized Master of Divinity is designed as for a three-year program requiring 91 credit hours, thereby fulfilling the necessary prerequisites for entrance into the Doctor of Ministry program.
The Doctor of Ministry course is operating as a joint degree program with Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas U.S.A. Students will receive doctoral degrees under the joint title of Korea Baptist Theological Seminary and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. This program prepares students to be outstanding scholars and pastoral leaders, relevant to contemporary ministry in the context of this global age.
