1. Admission Deadline
The completed application and all supporting documents must be on file in the Office of Admissions by the dates listed below. However, early application is strongly recommended. Approximately, the application deadline is in the 1st week of December for the spring semester and in the 1st week of June for the fall semester

2. Eligibility Requirements
(1) Master's Degree Program
  To be admitted as a graduate student, an applicant must have obtained a baccalaureate or higher degree, prior to the start of the KBTUS term for which the student is admitted, from an accredited college or university or the equivalent degree from a recognized international institution.
   
(2) Doctoral Degree Program
  To be admitted as a doctoral student, an applicant must have obtained a master or higher degree, prior to the start of the KBTUS term for which the student is admitted, from an accredited college or university or the equivalent degree from a recognized international institution.
   
(3) Evaluation of Major Proficiency
  In order to pursue a doctorate degree, one must apply and be admitted to the Graduate School, as well as be accepted for admission by the faculty of the particular program one wishes to pursue. The admission committee of the department that you applied will evaluate your proficiency of the major field based on the documents submitted. The additional interview may be followed if the committee decides it is needed.
   
(4) Language Proficiency (TOPIK Score [level 4 or higher])
  International applicants must complete the TOPIK(Test of Proficiency in Korea) with a minimum level 4.

4. Required Documents
(1) Application Form(available on the website)
  Transcripts and Certificate of Graduation from All College and Universities Attended
  Master candidate: official transcript, certificate of graduation (undergraduate)
  Doctoral candidate: official transcript, certificate of graduation (graduate)
  Copy of passport
  available on the web site
  A letter of recommendation by a local pastor(missionary) or a pastor(missionary) in Korea
  A Certificate of Baptism)(Scholarship applications will be considered for those who have submitted the certificate
  Affidavit of Financial Support (available on the web site)
Sponsor's Bank Certificate with a balance of more than USD 10,000
Sponsor's Certificate of Employment or Certificate of Business Registration
  TOPIK Score (Level 4 or higher), if available
   
  Note: 1) Additional material, if any, required by the department.
           2) All the official documents not in English or in Korean must be translated into English or Koreannotarized.
