1953. 06. 01. The Baptist Bible Institute was established in Jung-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon city
1954. 04. 08. The Baptist Bible Institute was promoted to Korea Baptist Seminary
1954. 07. 07. The establishment of Korea Baptist Seminary was approved by the Ministry of Education
1954. 07. 09. Dr. Na John was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Seminary's first principal
1957. 05. 20. Rev. Doh Wall Tae was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Seminary's 2nd principal
1957. 11. 30. "Evernety" Memorial Building was established

1963. 03. 04 Men's Dormitory was established
1965. 11. 18. Dr. Chi Dae Myung was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Seminary's 3rd principal
1968. 08. 20. DaeHan Baptist Seminary was merged into the Korea Baptist Seminary

1977. 12. 29. Dr. Chung Jin Whang was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Theological College's 4th dean
1978. 01. 11. The Department of Christian Education was established
1978. 04. 17. The Graduate School of Pastoral Ministry was established
1978. 12. 20. Chimsin Newspaper was officially registered and approved by the Minstry of Culture and Information
1979. 01. 15. The first Chimsin Newspaper published its first issue
1979. 09. 22. The KBTUS publication department was officially registered and approved by the Ministry of Culture and Information
1979.11. 21. Constitution of Curricula for teaching profession was approved

1980.10. 02. The name of the Institute was changed to the Korea Baptist Theological College
1980. 11. 24. The Graduate School of Theology of the Korea Baptist Theological College was established.

1980.12. 08. Oh KwonSuk, the first Principal, divided the unofficial curricula of KBTUS into KBTUS Seoul campus which was merged into the unofficial sister campus
1981. 03. 09. Kim ChangHwan, the second Principal, merged Kyunggi Seminary, EunHae Seminary and YoungNam Seminary into one seminary and changed its name to the Capital Baptist Seminary
1981. 07. 06. Korea Branch of Asia Baptist Theological College was established
1981. 09. 03. Korea Baptist Foundation was changed to Korea Baptist Institute
1982. 02. 16. The Center for Southwest Baptist University was established
1983. 09. 08. The Department of Religious Music was established
1984. 01. 20. The Capital Baptist Seminary was approved by the Ministry of Education
1984. 05. 12. Rev. Kim KapSoo was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Thelogical College's third Principal
1984. 11. 12. Dr. Huh Kin was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Theological College's 5th dean
1986. 01. 18. The Capital Baptist Seminary was approved by the Minstry of Education
1987. 08. 20. The master plan for the campus relocation was established
1987. 11. 09. Permission was granted to establish the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in the Graduate School of Korea Baptist Theological College
1988. 10. 31. Dr. Huh Kin was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Theological College's 6th dean
1989. 05. 30. A groundbreaking service for Yuseong campus was held
1989. 08. 09. Rev. Kim KapSoo was inaugurated as the Korea Baptist Theological College's 2nd dean

1990. 07. 01 Dr. Kwon HyukBong was inaugurated as the 3rd dean
1990. 10. 25. Dr. Huh Kin was inaugurated as the 7th Dean
1991. 10. 22. The name of the Department of Religious Music was changed to the Department of Church Music
1992. 07. 01. Campus moved from Mok-dong, Jung-gu into Haki-dong, Yuseong-gu
1992. 07. 31. The Department of Social Welfare was established
1992. 10. 27. Rev. Choi LeeSik was inaugurated as the 4th dean
1993. 02. 26. The Korea Baptist Theological College was merged with the Seoul campus
1993.09. 13. The institution was renamed Korea Baptist Theological University/Seminary
The Korea Baptist Theological College officially gained its university status
1994. 05. 24. 40th Anniversary Service was held
1994. 12. 01. Dr. Lee Chung Hui was inaugurated as the KBTUS's 8th president
1994. 12. 17. Songkang Social Welfare Community Center was established
1995. 02. Merged with Suwon campus; Dr. Ahn JongDae was inaugurated as the 5th dean.
1995. 05. 10. A groundbreaking ceremony for the Student Center was held
1996. 03. 06. Undergraduate study in the College of Humanities and Department of Church Music was reorganized
1996. 07. 30. The Student Center was completed
1996. 11. 02. Permission was granted by the Ministry of Education to establish the Graduate School of Pastoral Ministry
1997. 09. 23. Permission was granted by the Ministry of Education to establish the Institute for Life-Long Education
1997. 10. 25. The Graduate School of Church Music accommodated 4 additional students, and the Graduate School of Divinity 100 additional students
1997. 11. 05. Department of Theology and the Department of Social Welfare for evening undergraduate study was established
1998. 07. The juridical school foundation was stablized and Rev. Park SunJae was inaugurated as the 6th chairman of the board of directors
1998. 08. 27. The World Missions Training Center was completed
1998. 10. 22. The Department of Early Childhood Education was established

2010. 01. 05. Partnership Agreement with the Suwon Central Baptist Church was officially signed
2010. 02. 11. Pastor Kim Billy Jang Hwan was conferred an honorary doctorate in Philosophy
