The Department of Piano is a unique institution continuing the legacy of tradition and integrity of the classical piano. With a high level of distinctive and expert training and programs, the department aims to produce professional classical pianists who can contribute a positive impact to the community, as well as to the church. The curriculum is designed to provide excellency in both performance and theory of piano. Throughout the course of the four-year bachelor's degree program, a student may choose one of the following concentrated majors: performance, piano pedagogy, or collaborative ensemble arts. This is to ensure a customized education for every student, so the students can develop their personal expertise according to their aptitudes and talents. The program will focus on preparing the students to play a meaningful role in society after graduation. Another goal of the department is to provide a solid spiritual foundation for servant-leaders for the church. With vision and global perspectives, the Piano Department will help students to achieve the dream of becoming great musicians as well as global Christian music leaders for Christ.
