The Department of Social Welfare was established to equip and train called workers for the purpose of uniting the proclamation of the Gospel and Christian service. The Department educates workers who are greatly needed in churches, social institutions and all facets of society. The aim of the program is to provide a diverse and fresh perspective. The program focuses on healing the neglected humanity in our Post-Industrial society, or postmodern society, with a Christian perspective. Students who complete the required course work receive a government social welfare certificate, and they are acknowledged as specialized social welfare workers.
