Introduction of department
The Department of Theology was established for the purpose of training pastors who will build churches, teach the Scriptures and make the congregation obey the Word according to the Lord’s command.
The goal of the Department of Theology is to train pastors who ultimately serves the Lord and the world through providing evangelical theology education and practical spirituality training under the motto, “For Christ, towards the world.” In particular, we lay the foundation for building the house of theology through required general courses comprised of key subjects including liberal arts and natural science. And we provide in-depth education according to a diverse curriculum which include Biblical Theology (root of theology), Historical Theology (stem of theology), Systemic Theology (stump of theology), and Practical Theology (fruit of theology) through required major courses consisting of theory and practice. Graduates of the Department of Theology can engage in full-time ministry (assistant pastor, pastor, missionary, etc.) or carry out ministry as an active Christian pastor and leader in each area after receiving more specialized theological training by moving on to graduate school and studying abroad.
