  • 1 Applicant: Enrolled student majoring Theology in Graduate School of Theology
  • 2 Criteria of grade in previous semester: GPA over 2.5, no subject failure, worship P
    • Minimum credit to be acquired Day class 16 credits (up to 4 semesters), 12 credits (5 semesters)/ Evening class 9 credits (up to 4 semesters)
    • For students returning to relevant semester, eligibility for scholarship will be based on grades from semester immediately before leave of absence
    • For students returning to relevant semester, eligibility for scholarship will be based on grades from semester immediately before leave of absence
    • In case of a student registered in credit system, more than 9 credits in the relevant semester must be registered
    • Graduate School of Theology does not select a scholar for excellent grades in the following cases.
      • A In case a day class student takes an evening class of our school or a subject of another graduate school
      • B In case an evening class student takes the subject of another graduate school
    • Pastor’s child, overseas missionary’s child, faculty/staff member’s child (under 33 years of age)
    • For student couple scholarship, both couple must be enrolled in the relevant semester.
    • For three family member scholarship, all three family members must be enrolled in the relevant semester.

Pastor’s child/spouse Enrolled student with a GPA over 2.5 who is the spouse or a child (under 33) of a pastor who is working in an organization affiliated to the Baptist denomination and is approved by the Korea Baptist Convention or a senior pastor pastoring a church affiliated to the Baptist denomination and approved by the Korea Baptist Convention. This scholarship is limited to 1 degree course. However, it can be issued up to a maximum of 6 semesters by adding up M.Div. courses of Graduate School of Theology and Graduate School of Church Music. Korean student living abroad Person applicable to Article 2 of overseas student scholarship operational bylaw. Issued up to 2 degree courses from semester when scholarship eligibility was acquired. However, student moving on to the same graduate school as the degree course in which first scholarship was received from is an exception (A person admitted according to guidelines for applicants of Korean nationals residing abroad and special admission for foreigners, who resides in a country with national income lower than Korea, and is a person acknowledged as having no ability to pay the tuition fee on their own). Student Couple When a couple registers to undergraduate course and graduate school at the same time, it is issued to 1 designated person. However, in case of credit registration system, more than 9 credits must be registered If a couple receives ex officio scholarship benefit at the same time, the scholarship cannot exceed the tuition fee. Three family members In case more than 3 immediate family members (including son-in-law, daughter-in-law) register to an undergraduate course and a graduate school at the same time, this scholarship is issued to 1 person designated by the family. Pastoral Theology Major

  • 1 Applicant: Enrolled student majoring Pastoral Theology in Graduate School of Theology
  • 2 Criteria of grade in previous semester: GPA over 2.5, no subject failure
    • For students returning to relevant semester, eligibility for scholarship will be based on grades from semester immediately before leave of absence
    • To acquire qualification for scholarship, eligibility condition must be satisfied before the start of the semester.
    • In case of a student registered in credit system, more than 9 credits in the relevant semester must be registered.
    • For three family member scholarship, all three family members must be enrolled in the relevant semester.
